Standardization is a scientific journal based magazine all sectors of life associated with standards and standardization. Published three times a year to publish a scientific paper containing results of research, development and application in the field of standardization. Since the year 2006 Journal Standardization LIPI has successfully gained accreditation with B ratings with ISSN number 1441-0822. Thus for the author whose writings escaped assessment and is published in the Journal of Standardization will get value for 25/orang/makalah Cum researchers. Research has tried to make improvements to the content and design of the cover of a magazine that began with the blue cover, then cover the last orange and red color combination putih. Jurnal is open to the public with the provisions of articles that have been determined.

Activity of BSN on International Standardization

People who become powerless to compete is a high noble ideals of the whole nation in the world without exception where Standardization is one means of support to achieve purpose. Agreement World Trade Organization (WTO), as has been ratified by with the Government of Indonesia Law Number 7 Year 1994 on Approval The establishment of the WTO (LN No. RI 1994. 57, No. TLN. 3564) has created a system global trade movement that help the transaction flow of products across the boundaries of a maximum negara.Indonesia endeavored to increase harmonization of development of the Indonesian National Standard international standards, as part of a strategy expedite trade products in the international market.
BSN represent Indonesia in the formulation of a wide variety of international standard
implemented by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), International electrotechnical Commission (IEC), Codex Alimentarius Commission (CAC), and activities implementation of harmonization of standards and conformity assessment in order to reduce the barriers regional trade in ASEAN through the ASEAN Consultative Committee for Standards and Quality (ACCSQ), at the regional level through APEC Asia-Pacific - Standards and Conformance Sub-Committee (APEC-SCSC), Asia Pacific Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (APLAC), Pacific Accreditation Cooperation (PAC), Pacific Area Standards Congress (PASC) and so forth. International standardization activities can support increased productivity, production efficiency, product quality, processes, systems and personnel, thus become a powerful tool to improve the competitiveness of the nation, the protection to consumers.
